Urspr\u00fcnglich am 18. September 1908 abgegrenzt, erstreckt sich die demarkierte Region der Vinhos Verdes im Nordwesten Portugals, in der Gegend, die traditionell als Entre-Douro-e-Minho bekannt ist.<\/span><\/p>

Die n\u00f6rdlichen Grenzen bilden der Fluss Minho, der teilweise die Grenze zu Spanien markiert, im S\u00fcden der Fluss Douro sowie die Gebirge Freita, Arada und Montemuro, im Osten die Gebirge Peneda, Ger\u00eas, Cabreira und Mar\u00e3o und im Westen der Atlantische Ozean.<\/p>

In Bezug auf die geografische Fl\u00e4che ist es die gr\u00f6\u00dfte portugiesische demarkierte Region und eine der gr\u00f6\u00dften in Europa.<\/p>

Die nat\u00fcrlichen Bedingungen dieser Region sind ideal f\u00fcr die Produktion von ausgezeichneten Wei\u00dfweinen.<\/b><\/p>

Orografisch pr\u00e4sentiert sich die Region als \"ein gro\u00dfes Amphitheater, das sich allm\u00e4hlich von der K\u00fcste zum Landesinneren hin erhebt\" (Amorim Gir\u00e3o) und die gesamte Gegend der Einflussnahme des Atlantischen Ozeans aussetzt. Dieses Ph\u00e4nomen wird durch die Ausrichtung der T\u00e4ler der Hauptfl\u00fcsse verst\u00e4rkt, die von Ost nach West verlaufen und die Eindringung von Seewinden erleichtern.\u00a0<\/p>

Diese atlantische Einflussnahme, die haupts\u00e4chlich aus Granit stammenden B\u00f6den, das milde Klima und die hohe Niederschlagsmenge spiegeln sich in der Frische, Leichtigkeit und Eleganz der Weine dieser Region wider.<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

Unterregion von Amarante und Marco de Canaveses
<\/b>Die Unterregion von Amarante und Marco de Canaveses liegt im Landesinneren der Region und ist vor dem Einfluss des Atlantiks gesch\u00fctzt. Durch die h\u00f6here durchschnittliche H\u00f6he ist die thermische Amplitude h\u00f6her als im Durchschnitt der Region und der Sommer ist hei\u00dfer.\u00a0<\/p>

Diese Bedingungen beg\u00fcnstigen die Entwicklung einiger sp\u00e4t reifender Rebsorten wie Azal und Avesso (wei\u00df), Amaral und Espadeiro (rot). Der Boden ist wie in den meisten Gebieten der Region granitisch. Wei\u00dfweine haben in der Regel fruchtige Aromen und einen h\u00f6heren Alkoholgehalt als der Durchschnitt der Region.\u00a0<\/p>

Diese werden aus den Rebsorten Arinto, Loureiro und Trajadura gewonnen, die an gem\u00e4\u00dfigte Klimazonen angepasst sind und daher in fast der gesamten Vinhos Verdes-Region anzutreffen sind. Hier haben sie jedoch einen Verb\u00fcndeten, den Avesso, eine Rebsorte, die charakteristischer f\u00fcr die Teilregionen im Landesinneren ist.<\/p>

Mit dem Hinzuf\u00fcgen von Weinen mit intensivem und strukturiertem Charakter, in allen Farben, zu den jungen und frischen Vinhos Verdes, nimmt das Angebot an Weinen aus der Region zu, das eine Palette von Geschmacksrichtungen von elegant bis komplex umfasst.<\/p>

Von verschiedenen sortenreinen Vinhos Verdes wie Alvarinho oder Avesso bis hin zu Vinhos Verdes aus verschiedenen Parzellen oder Terroirs, neuen oder alten Rebst\u00f6cken, mit Fassreifung oder aus alten Jahrg\u00e4ngen - Vinhos Verdes passen problemlos zu einem kompletten Men\u00fc.<\/p>
